It’s no secret that I think Fiverr is an amazing freelance platform that is often overlooked. Many people believe you can only charge $5 for your services, but that’s no longer true! Personally, I made over $1,000 in my first 30 days on Fiverr and am on track to hit $35,000 in my first full year—all while working part-time. Pretty good, right? But one question I get a lot is how to come up with easy Fiverr gig ideas. I get it—you want to figure out the simplest way to make money on Fiverr, and I don’t blame you.
How I Made $1,000 in My First Month on Fiverr
There’s plenty of competition on Fiverr, but if you come up with high-demand gigs that you’re capable of doing, I don’t doubt that you can figure out how to make them successful—if you know what to do! I’ll share more on how to get orders in a moment, but first, let’s go over the best Fiverr gig ideas that require little to no skill (or at least very minimal skill).
1. Social Media Manager
While social media management is indeed a skill, most of us use social media daily, so it’s something many people can figure out fairly easily. Is there one type of social media you know really well? Not just how to post, but also how to grow an account and increase engagement? If so, you can absolutely start as a social media manager on Fiverr!
When I wrote this, I was working as a Pinterest Manager on Fiverr with about 3-5 clients per month. I started by charging $150 for a full month of managing my clients’ Pinterest accounts. Now, I charge between $400 and $500 per month for each account because I’ve built up reviews and proven that I know how to use Pinterest to market businesses effectively.

2. Blog Post Writer
This is another popular gig idea on Fiverr—and one I personally do, so I might be a little biased. Writing a decent blog post doesn’t require much. If you can research a topic and turn it into an easy-to-read article, this is something you can offer! It’s one of the most popular Fiverr gigs and how I’ve earned most of my income.
When I started, I charged $10 per 500-word article. Now, less than a year later, I charge $70 for 500 words, and I can tailor my workload based on how much time I have to write.
3. Voice Over Artist
This Fiverr gig idea requires very little skill! All you need is the ability to read and a clear, pleasant-sounding voice. If you can read a script and record it for clients, you can do this. Many people creating videos online use stock footage or slides but need someone to narrate or read the script.
To get started, you’ll need a quiet place to record. Once you start earning, you can invest in a good USB microphone to improve your audio quality.
4. Background Removal
Have you noticed that many online stores prefer to have plain white backgrounds? This is something small businesses often outsource because they don’t have the time or resources to do it themselves. If you have Photoshop, you can easily do this. If not, you can sign up for Canva Pro ($12.95/month) and use their background removal tool, which is super user-friendly.
I use Canva for everything these days—from background removal to YouTube thumbnails, social media graphics, and even monthly Pinterest reports for my clients.
Most sellers charge between $5 and $10 for 5 to 50 photos. If you charge $5 for 10 photos and it takes you about 10 minutes, you’re making $30 an hour for something that requires mostly time and very little skill.
5. Social Media Graphic Designer
With tools like Canva, you don’t need to be a professional designer to create social media graphics! Most companies want a cohesive, professional look, and you can help them achieve this by offering social media graphics as your Fiverr gig. Canva comes with hundreds (or even thousands) of templates that you can tweak to meet your clients’ needs.
You can even create templates for recurring clients. For example, if a client needs monthly designs, you can simply plug in their text and photos, saving you time.
For instance, the first gig in the post above charges $70 for 50 social media posts. This is a great deal, and you can definitely charge more once you build a reputation. With 5-10 templates ready, you can complete a client’s order in 1-2 hours, earning $35 to $70 per hour.
6. Transcription
Can you put on a pair of headphones and transcribe audio or video? If so, this is a great Fiverr gig idea for you! With the rise of podcasts and the need for transcription in various industries, this is a fantastic way to make extra money. Most Fiverr sellers charge based on the length of the audio being transcribed.
7. User Testing
When companies launch new websites, they often need fresh eyes to identify areas for improvement. Many businesses hire people to test their websites and provide feedback to enhance the user experience.
To get started, create a gig offering to test websites and provide feedback. Some gigs even include screen recordings of the tester navigating the site, along with video feedback. You can offer this as an add-on to increase your earnings.
For screen recording, I use Loom. While I have the paid plan, the free version allows up to 100 videos of up to 5 minutes each, which is usually sufficient. Just let your clients know they’ll need to download their videos if they want to save them.
But How Do I Get Orders?
Of course, there are hundreds of gigs you can offer on Fiverr. These are just a few examples of easy Fiverr gig ideas to get you started. Many people I talk to are stumped about how to get those first few orders. I’ve shared some tips here, but if you need more help figuring out what gig to start or how to get orders, check out my course, Fiverr Kickstart.
